Assumptions
Defaults are Etsy's published US rates, checked October 2026: $0.20 listing fee, 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus shipping, payment processing of 3% + $0.25, and an Offsite Ads fee of 15% (or 12% once your shop has made $10,000 in a 365-day period), capped at $100 per order. Every rate is an editable default: payment processing varies by bank country, and some countries add a regulatory operating fee or VAT on fees, which this tool does not include. Etsy also charges processing on any sales tax collected; this tool leaves tax out. Fees are applied to item price + shipping. Optional costs such as Etsy Ads, currency conversion (2.5%) and the one-time shop setup fee are not included.

In the US, Etsy charges a $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus shipping and gift wrap, and an Etsy Payments processing fee of 3% + $0.25. Processing rates vary by country.
How much is the Etsy Offsite Ads fee?
15% of the order total for shops that made under $10,000 in the past 365 days, or 12% for shops at or above $10,000. It is only charged when a sale comes from an Offsite Ad and never exceeds $100 per order.
Does Etsy charge fees on shipping?
Yes. The 6.5% transaction fee and the payment processing fee both apply to the shipping price you charge the buyer.
