Inventory Reorder Point Calculator
Know when to reorder before you run out. Enter stock on hand, how fast it sells, how long your supplier takes, and how many days of buffer you want.
Who it's for: Sellers who hold their own inventory, such as blanks, packaging or finished goods, and have been caught out of stock before.
How to use it
- Enter units in stock.
- Enter average units sold per day.
- Enter supplier lead time and safety buffer in days.
- Check days remaining and whether to reorder now.
Assumptions
Days remaining = stock ÷ daily sales. Reorder point = (lead time + safety days) × daily sales. Reorder when stock is at or below the reorder point. Assumes steady daily sales. Defaults are examples.
